Democratic District 12 Congressional Caucus

Please mark your calendar for Tuesday, January 9, and join us for the Congressional District 12 Caucus, from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the Ohio University Zanesville Auditorium. The Caucus will be hosted by the Ohio Democratic Party and the Muskingum County Democratic Party. The purpose of the caucus is to select two women and two men to represent our district at the Democratic National Convention in Chicago next August

If Troy Balderson is your U.S. Congressman and you are a registered Democrat, then you are eligible to vote for the delegates of your choice.

Let’s show up at 6:00 p.m., register, and mingle with our candidates and other candidates from District 12. At 7:00 p.m. we will enter the auditorium to hear short speeches from the candidates, and then we will cast our votes.

Candidates may come from parts of Licking, Fairfield, Knox, Muskingum, Coshocton, Guernsey, Morgan, Perry, and Athens counties, as well as portions of Delaware, Holmes, and Tuscarawas counties. It is possible that candidates from other parts of the district will bring busloads of voters in to support their candidates.

Invite your friends to participate in this grass-roots level hallmark of democracy.

If you have any questions about the caucus, please contact me at 740.252.6911 or at michaelnern@gmail.com

Respectfully submitted,

Michael Nern

Party Chair, Muskingum County
